【摘要】:Blockingofwaxedpaper,becauseoftherelativelylowtemperaturesatwhichitmayoccur,canbeamajorproblemtothepaper-coatingindustry.Forexample,whenthewaxedsurfacesinarollofwaxedpapersticktogether,uponseparationthesurfacefilmsaremarredandtheglossyfinishisdestroyed.Thewaxpickingpointandthewaxblockingpointindicateanapproximatetemperaturerangeatorabovewhichwaxedsurfacesincontactwitheachotherarelikelytocausesurfacefilminjury.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheblockingpointandpickingpointofpetroleumwax.1.2WARNINGMercuryhasbeendesignatedbymanyregulatoryagenciesasahazardousmaterialthatcancausecentralnervoussystem,kidneyandliverdamage.Mercury,oritsvapor,maybehazardoustohealthandcorrosivetomaterials.Cautionshouldbetakenwhenhandlingmercuryandmercurycontainingproducts.SeetheapplicableproductMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)fordetailsandEPAx2019;swebsitehttp://www.epa.gov/mercury/faq.htmforadditionalinformation.Usersshouldbeawarethatsellingmercuryand/ormercurycontainingproductsintoyourstateorcountrymaybeprohibitedbylaw.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
