【摘要】:EachFacilityRatingScale(seeFigs.1-6)inthisclassificationprovidesameanstoestimatethelevelofserviceabilityofabuildingorfacilityforonetopicofserviceabilityandtocomparethatlevelagainstthelevelofanyotherbuildingorfacility.Thisclassificationcanbeusedforcomparinghowwelldifferentbuildingsorfacilitiesmeetaparticularrequirementforserviceability.Itisapplicabledespitedifferencessuchaslocation,structure,mechanicalsystems,age,andbuildingshape.Thisclassificationcanbeusedtoestimatetheamountofvarianceofserviceabilityfromtargetorfromrequirement,forasingleofficefacility,orwithinagroupofofficefacilities.Thisclassificationcanbeusedtoestimatethefollowing:4.4.1Serviceabilityofanexistingfacilityforusesotherthanitspresentuse.4.4.2Serviceability(potential)ofafacilitythathasbeenplannedbutnotyetbuilt.4.4.3Serviceability(potential)ofafacilityforwhicharemodelinghasbeenplanned.Useofthisclassificationdoesnotresultinbuildingevaluationordiagnosis.Buildingevaluationordiagnosisgenerallyrequiresaspecialexpertiseinbuildingengineeringortechnology,andtheuseofinstruments,tools,ormeasurements.Thisclassificationappliesonlytofacilitiesthatarebuildingconstructions,orpartsthereof.(Whilethisclassificationmaybeusefulinratingtheserviceabilityoffacilitiesthatarenotbuildingconstructions,suchfacilitiesareoutsidethescopeofthisclassification.)Thisclassificationisnotintendedfor,andisnotsuitablefor,useforregulatorypurposes,norforfirehazardassessmentnorforfireriskassessment.1.1Thisclassificationcoverspairsofscalesforclassifyinganaspectoftheserviceabilityofanofficefacility,thatis,thecapabilityofanofficefacilitytomeetcertainpossiblerequirementsforsuitablesoundandvisualconditions.1.2Withinthataspectofserviceability,eachpairofscales,shownin,areforclassifyingonetopicofserviceability.EachparagraphinanOccupantRequirementScale(see)summarizesonelevelofserviceabilityonthattopic,whichoccupantsmightrequire.ThematchingentryintheFacilityRatingScale(see)isatranslationoftherequirementintoadescriptionofcertainfeaturesofafacilitywhich,takenincombination,indicatethatthefacilityislikelytomeetthatlevelofrequiredserviceability.1.3TheentriesintheFacilityRatingScale(see)areindicativeandnotcomprehensive.Theyareforquickscanningtoestimateapproximately,quickly,andeconomically,howwellanofficefacilityislikelytomeettheneedsofoneoranothertypeofoccupantgroupovertime.Theentriesarenotformeasuring,knowing,orevaluatinghowanofficefacilityisperforming.1.4Thisclassificationcanbeusedtoestimatethelevelofserviceabilityofanexistingfacility.Itcanalsobeusedtoestimatetheserviceabilityofafacilitythathasbeenplannedbutnotyetbuilt,suchasoneforwhichsingle-linedrawingsandoutlinespecificationshavebeenprepared.1.5Thisclassificationindicateswhatwouldcauseafacilitytoberatedatacertainlevelofserviceabilitybutdoesnotstatehowtoconductaserviceabilityratingnorhowtoassignaserviceabilityscore.ThatinformationisfoundinPracticeE1334.ThescalesinthisclassificationarecomplimentarytoandcompatiblewithPracticeE1334.Eachrequirestheother.
