【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversrecommendedproceduresforthehandlingoforthopedicimplantsandinstruments.1.2Hospitalreceivingpersonnel,centralsupplypersonnel,operatingroompersonnel,surgeons,andoccasionallyotherindividualswillhandleorthopedicimplantsandinstruments.Allpersonnelshouldbeinformedofrecommendedcareandhandlingprocedurestopreventdamagetoorthopedicimplantsandinstruments.1.3Thispracticedoesnotcoverproducerlevelhandlingandpackagingprocedures.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
